The 2018 Wings Over Houston airshow at Ellington Field, Texas, showcased the magnificent and timeless beauty of the Boeing Stearman PT-17 “Kaydet.” This vintage biplane wears the iconic World War 2 U.S. Army markings and paint scheme. The PT-17 bi-plane was a military trainer in the 1930s and 1940s for the USAAF, the US Navy, and the Royal Canadian Air Force.
