At the 2019 Wings Over Houston airshow in Ellington Field, Texas, spectators were treated to a tandem takeoff by a pair of magnificent Beechcraft T-34 Mentors. The Mentor is a two-seat, tandem cockpit low-wing turboprop trainer whose mission is to provide primary flight training for student pilots. The T-34s are beginner-friendly planes, like the Beechcraft Bonanza. They are easy to fly and great for new pilots. These planes are fully aerobatic and can withstand the force of 6Gs, including three negative-Gs.
