The Douglas C-47 Skytrain carried Approximately 13,000 paratroopers from the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions that parachuted into Normandy, starting the Allied offensive to liberate France. This specific C-47, "That's All, Brother," was the Lead ship of 800 C-47s that dropped US paratroops into Normandy on the eve of D-Day. This well-known plane was featured in the 2019 World War 2 Land Air & Sea Festival in New Orleans. "That's All, Brother" represents the strong spirit that persisted during those tough times.
