The gracefully T-33 Shooting Star “Ace Maker II” performs a photo pass at the 2019 Thunder over the Sound over Biloxi Beach. Lockheed developed the T-33 as a two-seat jet trainer. With an extended fuselage and canopy, it became a world-class trainer, producing 5,781 units over its first decade. Serving as the most widely used jet trainer, the T-33 played a crucial role in training a generation of flying cadets who transitioned to pilots in this iconic aircraft's front seat.
